From University of La Laguna in Canary Island, Spain, has been exploring for more than ten years the benefits of mental silence for the human brain from different angles or perspectives: neuronal activity, brain anatomy, how the different areas of the brain cooperate to stablish the state of mental silence

Master Seifollah Shokri
Music researcher, reviver of ancient instruments, musician and poet. His researches are in the history of music and instruments in Iran and the Middle East. By inventing the carpet maker as a platform for the voice of carpet weavers, he sought to change the working and living conditions of carpet weavers. In the field of revival of ancient instruments, Saifollah Shokri registered the Iranian harp in the list of Iran’s spiritual heritage and also donated it to the UN Secretary General and started his cooperation with the UN Sustainable Development Department and coordinated the music department of MERC-BLP for 2 years.

Sahar Ismael
Is an Iraqi-American artist, who was born in Baghdad-Iraq and now resides in Maryland-USA. Sahar graduated as an Architect from Baghdad University which contributed to her artistic power and choose art of painting as a second profession in life.Sahar‘s work is a collection of geographic spaces, of moments and of incidents. Every location she visits, every moment she lives and every event she witnesses is documented in her paintings, translated through the formations and colors she uses to reflect her life journey.As an architect, she designed many medical buildings, business offices, and residential units in Iraq.

Saman lives and works in the District as a community-based real estate developer.”
Please note that the term is “whirling” or “sufi whirling”, not “swirling” or “dancing.” Doesn’t bother me 🙂 but I know traditional Sufis want to make sure that is not lost in translation.

Is from Ecuador is an Ecuadorian dancer. He is the producer, general director, choreographer, and founder of the Jacchigua Foundation. Inspired by communities like his native Pilligsillí, Maca Chico, La Compañía y Poaló, he decided to show the reality of the wisdom of the village with its fiestas, people, dance, music, costume, and rituals.
