We want to celebrate Nowruz! And why Nowruz celebration matters specially this Year? • In response to the darkness and hardship faced by our friends and courageous people in Iran, we are celebrating hope, resilience, and the depth of Nowruz culture and traditions.
• Our festival strengthens social cohesion and inclusivity for the Middle Eastern and Central Asian communities in Frederick, as well as the broader Frederick community.
• Nowruz 2026 is an opportunity to transform our emotional intelligence and collective awareness into connection, learning, and mutual support.

We want to celebrate Nowruz! And why Nowruz celebration matters specially this Year?
- In response to the darkness and hardship faced by our friends and courageous people in Iran, we are celebrating hope, resilience, and the depth of Nowruz culture and traditions.

What Volunteers Do
- Welcome and assist attendees, guiding crowds and answering questions
- Support cultural program setup, stage management, and tear down
- Manage vendor and performer logistics, schedules, and needs
- Facilitate family/children’s activities, education stations, and language support
- Assist with registration, information desks, and accessibility needs
- Help with marketing outreach, social media, and photography/videography
- Provide hospitality and food service coordination
