UNESCO BMW Youth for Climate Action
November 20, 2022 @ 12:00 pm
Since climate change especially affects younger generations, UNESCO Body & Mind Wellness Club (UNESCO BMW), in collaboration with Sahaja Yoga Meditation and Hood College, is pleased to offer a free 90-minute online program entitled “Youth for Climate Action” for this November 20 at 12:00 PM EST. All children and youth are especially invited!
The vision for UNESCO Body and Mind Wellness
The idea is to realize one’s true resources available inwardly and reflecting that self-awareness to global awareness and unity. This is necessary to help us face and solve the problems that specially our future generations are facing. They are tomorrow’s leaders, and now is the time to act to strengthen their life quality on this Mother Earth!
Youth Problems & Remedies
Considering the unsettling reality that our future generations are going through, this program will focus on youth and planet issues such as climate change, deepening inequality, overwhelming speed, technology overload, etc. Such issues as these will be addressed and then followed by a meditative reflection. Our format will include a targeted guest speaker, music, and a Q&A session.
