Our goals

BMW is a pioneering UNESCO-affiliated organization that promotes inner peace
and self-awareness among generations through physical, emotional, and mental
balance. BMW was founded with the common goal of making the global community
healthier, stronger, and more stable by utilizing unconventional sources of art
and culture around us. We work with individuals and communities and envisions
creations of traditional art and craft that symbolize harmony and peace. It
also works towards enhancing the support of our ecology and the sphere of world
peace and habituating Eco-friendly practices.

We help people help themselves.

Our vision mission encompasses three main goals and engages people of all
ages, especially the youth- improvement of the inner ecosystem, enhancement of
inner creativity through arts and crafts and lastly, encouragement of inner
peace on a global level.

UNESCO BMW strives for and implements Eco-friendly strategies and choices
with individuals and communities to achieve the first goal. As part of the
“Pearls of the Peace Land Projects,” we support the Ecosystem
Protection Project, Smart Business Sponsorship, and a Lecture Series-STEAM to
achieve the heart revelation of the 2030UN Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs). We also support all initiatives involving biodegradable concepts that
can promote resilience and communication through after-school activities,
mentor-ship, support groups, skill training, and Eco-friendly businesses.

However, it is impossible for the human being to ignore his emotional and
artistic soul in life. Thus, our second goal of incorporating the arts in
different forms has allowed diversity and inclusion in our environment.

Before Covid, UNESCO BMW created Art & Craft in-person showrooms,
workshops, and exhibitions, and more recently, it provided online Art of
Inclusion and Cultural Diversity programs as part of the “Pearls of the
Peace Land Projects.”

Since 2014, our programs have included the global communities and indigenous
artists, with an emphasis on family as well as the individual through various
methods to protect the quality of education, such as Quality Education and art
& craft programs, as well as cultural diversity programs.

UNESCO BMW has provided inner peace, Zen, Tao, Confucius, Zarathusrian, and
Sufism style practices based on the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) to achieve an awakening of the soul as well as peace for the global
society. Since 2014, such stress relief and creative programs have included the
Frederick community and beyond, with a focus on individual and family
reintegration using methods such as chakra meditation, Feldenkrais, and inner
wisdom. Each one-hour guided session focuses on inner awareness, introspection,
relaxation, and Thoughtlessness meditative practices to coach, support, and
uplift the emotional and mental well-being of all. We recently also held the
“Meditation for Life’s Chaos” 9 Day Meditation June 2022 Program through which
global youth pioneers provide insight into topics that may affect many people
in achieving inner peace such as bullying, mental health etc.

Through these goals and our efforts, we hope to provide a platform of
inner peace and awareness to the table in order to achieve total wellness
of body, mind, and spirit. And in doing so, allowing people to express
themselves through traditional crafts and performing arts. while
also remembering the importance of free and balanced
living, we hope to uplift our ecosystem and the world around us.

” UNESCOBMW is a non-profit full of kind-hearted people. Some things that
we do to benefit the people of this world are yoga and meditation and this has
helped a lot in my day-to-day life. It has helped me to improve my confidence,
mental clarity and has just helped my overall well-being. We are also focused
on the arts which are VERY important to me, being a creative soul myself. We
help with the education of the environment helping to educate the people of the
future to help make this world a better place and protect our home so it will
still be here for future generations. Focusing on mental health, nutrition,
social media, bullying, and family/friend connections are probably my favorite
programs because in life we all need to help each other. Weather you come from
a broken home or not these programs can help to strengthen your bond.”
