Nowruz, means New Day. It is the celebration of the New Year on the vernal equinox. It is an old Persian and Farsi language practice that has miraculously endured its splendor and popularity in spite of many turmoils in Iranian history.
It is the most important celebration, because it is symbolic of a spirit of hope and renewal: one forgets old animosities and renews friendships. It is the beginning of Spring and the earth rejuvenation.
