The UNESCO BMW, guided by its core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, will adhere YMCA’s “Welcoming Week “ celebration to exemplify our ongoing commitment to equity and inclusion.
This initiative that encourages people from all backgrounds and ideologies to find common ground and make our communities more vibrant and prosperous.
Through our community service project called ReWIND, we aim to create an environment where everyone feels valued and connected.
The UNESCO BMW is a leading nonprofit organization committed to strengthening the community by nurturing the potential of every individual, promoting healthy living, and fostering social responsibility. We believe that our community is stronger when everyone feels welcome and can thrive.
To that end, our partnering with YMCA for the September Welcoming Week program is focused on ReWIND, our self-awareness initiative to better understand one’s emotional intelligence through Meditation sessions. These sessions are offered on the following themes:

Children under age 7: 4:30pm-5:30pm, 1 hr. story telling with their parents attending.

Adults, Youth and Children: 6:00pm-7:00pm, 1 hr. Rewind Wellness Meditation session.

These sessions will repeat in different Y venues alternatively as follows:

1- Natelli Family Y: Community Room A, Monday, Sept. 16
2- Downtown Y: Hall of Fame Room, (Wed 9/18)
3- YAC: Friday, Sept. 20

• Calm, Peaceful and Satisfied vs Anxiety and Depression
• Confidence vs Peer Pressure and Social Expectations
• Better Relationship with others vs Conflicts and Tempers
• Forgiveness
