Introduction
Hello, my name is Varshini Gatla. I am a junior in high school in Edison, New Jersey.
My delicious love story with baking started back in the 8th grade, when I was stuck at home due to the pandemic.
A simple interest in baking and experimenting with flavors became something bigger and better. Baking allows me to combine my love for food, and my skills in art to better into one creation. But as most think, baking is not just about cakes, cookies, and pastries; it’s about understanding the sweet potential of food to bring joy and satisfaction to the lives of those around me. Food is a big part of everyone’s lives, and is essential to not only life, but when making memories too. So here at Treat Treasures, we focus on not just the desserts themselves but the memories we treasure behind each cake we make.
